I am planning on "setting up" my car this time. By that I mean adjusting tire pressure before I leave. That's all I can do, can't adjust suspension, camber or toe. I was thinking about having 35psi up front, and 38psi in the rear. Thoughts? Tips?

I was thinking about doing this too. But I don't know what the optimal pressure would be for my specific setup. Also, this picture is very useful on AutoX days.

With my FWD SVT focus I like 38-40 psi front and 34-36 rear. But I run street tires with 300-ish tread wear rating, nothing stickier.
Chalk your tires and see what works for you.

I am in the same boat as you. I have all seasons with around 300 tread wear rating, not the best tire for autocross but I make do! Do you think it would be different for a RWD car? I was thinking harder tires would give it less grip in the rear, helping it turn in a bit more.

Well try stuff out in Forza and see what happens to the car at the extreme ends of things.

It isn't a bad place to learn what certain things do! Plus you can do crazy things like 60psi tires!

why would you do that?
40 is perfect, especially when youdont give us critical information such as type of car, what tire, etc....
That basic information isn't important in the least bit. Helping people help you is vastly underrated.

Ohmygerd. Its a 215/45R17 all season tire(Bridgestone Turanza EL400) all around. Car is the only car I have had a Scion FRS.
